Tour the mine with a short visit

The descent starts at the cage and descends along the shaft along 556 m. to finally reach the 10th level.
From the 10th level boarding area, the visitors will go to see the pump room and the battery room.
Then, the tour by train will start to the chimney called “Turista”, where the visitor will be able to drill his own coal.
The tour will then start back to the boarding area on the 10th level.
If you are a group of 10 or more, a 10% discount will be applied.
Given the special characteristics of the visit, which goes through confined spaces where gases may be present, and the conditions of some stretches, close to adventure tourism, the visitor should know:
- During the tour you may suffer from stress and overload.
- It is strictly forbidden to introduce any type of electrical or electronic device inside the mine: battery clocks, mobile phones, cameras, etc.
- Likewise, access with food is not allowed.
- Smoking is not allowed inside the facilities either.
- To carry out the visit, the following documents must be completed. Without them you will not be able to access the interior of the well.
- The conditions inside the mine are very special: darkness, artificial lighting, sounds, unusual noises, feeling of confinement in small spaces, humidity, heat, presence of dust in the environment, etc… so it is not advisable to use contact lenses.
- The mine underground is not adapted for people with reduced mobility.
- Children will not be allowed to participate in the activity, unless they have the express authorization of the person who has custody over them signing the supporting document, setting the minimum age for the visit at 16 years.
The visitor must not present any of the following processes considered as contraindications:
- Arrhythmia, angina, history of myocardial infarction or coronary disease.
- Bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema or diseases affecting the respiratory capacity.
- Claustrophobia, epileptic attacks or seizures, history of cerebral ictus, balance disorders or vertigo, alterations in walking or wandering.
- Morbid obesity, insulin-dependent diabetes, high blood pressure with uncontrolled figures.
- Pregnancy.
Under normal circumstances, if, by chance, a serious health problem could occur underground, the guides who accompany the visit are trained in first aid and know how to act. In addition to that, a action protocol in case of accident has been implemented to ensure the safety and evacuation of people.
The company has its own medical service prepared to deal with any incidents that could occur during the visits.
Attending to the above conditions, for safety reasons, HUNOSA reserves the right to authorize people to go down the mine when any may not meet the minimum requirements demanded to carry out the activity, attending to the technical miners criteria.

Check in at Pozo Sotón: 9:00h (Note: if the visitor exceed the check in time it will lose the right to visit and will not have the right to economic reimbursement).

Recommendations
It is recommended to bring underwear for a change, due to the fact that the underwear worn during the visit will not be able to be used again that day. In case you forget, HUNOSA can provide you with mine underwear, taking into account that these are exclusively men’s clothes from our mining wardrobe.
HUNOSA will provide towels. It is recommended that each person comes with footwear for the shower and a toilet bag with personal hygiene products.
